Cathay Pacific to Launch Daily Direct Flights to Hyderabad in 2025

Cathay Pacific is set to enhance its connectivity in India by resuming daily direct flights to Hyderabad (HYD), the capital of Telangana, starting March 30, 2025. This exciting development is part of the airline’s strategy to strengthen its network presence in India and improve travel options from its hub at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).

According to a press release dated November 11, 2024, Lavinia Lau, Cathay’s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, emphasized the airline’s dedication to fostering cultural ties and facilitating trade between Hong Kong and India. "The resumption reaffirms our established presence in India and our commitment to enhancing our services in this important market," she stated.

Expanding Connectivity with New Routes

The new Hong Kong-Hyderabad service will initially operate three times a week using Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Starting September 1, 2025, the frequency will increase to five flights weekly, providing more options for travelers.
