BermudAir Expands Service: New Destinations to Connect Bermuda with the U.S.

BermudAir, the emerging airline connecting Bermuda with major U.S. cities, continues to expand its offerings, adding new destinations in 2025. Launched in August of last year, BermudAir initially focused on routes to Boston, Fort Lauderdale, and Westchester. With the anticipated addition of flights to Charleston, Hartford, and Raleigh-Durham, the airline aims to enhance connectivity for travelers seeking to explore the beautiful island of Bermuda.

This route covers 896 miles, with flight durations of 2 hours and 30 minutes westbound and 2 hours and 10 minutes eastbound. All flights will be operated using BermudAir’s Embraer E175 aircraft.

BermudAir: A Year of Reliable Service

Since its inception, BermudAir has maintained a strong operational record, utilizing a fleet of just two Embraer E175 aircraft acquired after the closure of Flybe. Despite limited fleet growth, the airline has successfully expanded its network to ten cities, reflecting its commitment to serving the Bermuda market effectively.

Originally designed as an all-business-class airline, BermudAir has adapted by introducing a mixed cabin model, which includes an economy option. Currently, the airline operates with an 88-seat configuration, providing enhanced service to business class passengers alongside economy seating.

While supply chain delays have affected the rollout of additional business-class offerings, BermudAir has remained steadfast in its operations, demonstrating resilience in a competitive aviation landscape. The addition of Charleston, Hartford, and Raleigh-Durham marks a significant step in the airline’s growth trajectory.

Looking Ahead: The Future of BermudAir

As BermudAir continues to navigate the complexities of the airline industry, questions about its long-term business model and financial health remain. However, the airline’s consistent service and strategic expansion indicate a promising future for travelers looking to connect with Bermuda.
