Royal Jordanian Airlines has exciting news for travelers! Starting March 23, 2025, the airline will introduce regular non-stop flights between Amman, Jordan, and Washington DC. This new service, connecting Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) with Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), will operate three times a week using the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners.
This new 5,965-mile (9,544 km) route marks a significant expansion of Royal Jordanian’s international offerings, making it the airline’s fifth destination in North America, joining cities like Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Montreal.
Connecting Two Dynamic Capitals
“Our inaugural flight between Amman and Washington DC represents a pivotal moment in Royal Jordanian’s global expansion strategy,” stated Samer Majali, CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines. He emphasized that this new direct link aims to boost tourism, trade, and investment between the two regions.
Majali further elaborated, “This crucial connection enhances our service to the Gulf, Levant, and North Africa, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional service and connecting people worldwide, in line with RJ’s five-year expansion plan.”
