SWISS Unveils Luxurious First and Business Class Seats for A350
## SWISS Introduces New First and Business Class Seats
SWISS has unveiled its First and Business Class seats for the upcoming A350-900 aircraft, promising an upgraded travel experience. The announcement took place at Zurich Airport (ZRH) on July 29, 2025, as part of their innovative “SWISS Senses” cabin initiative designed for long-haul routes.
## Aircraft Timeline and Future Plans
The A350-900 will be the first aircraft to showcase these new seating options, with deliveries expected to begin in October 2025 and service anticipated to start in January 2026. Following this introduction, SWISS plans to retrofit its existing long-haul fleet, which includes the A330-300 and Boeing 777-300ER.
### Enhancing Passenger Experience
First introduced in March 2023, the “SWISS Senses” concept aims to elevate passenger comfort across all service classes, including First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
## Cabin Design and Features
The newly designed cabins reflect the latest trends in comfort and aesthetics.
### First Class Luxury
In First Class, passengers will enjoy spacious personal compartments that ensure complete privacy, thanks to sliding doors. The design allows for flexibility, as the central suites can be transformed for two travelers sharing the space.
### Business Class Innovations
Business Class has also been redesigned to emphasize privacy with individual sliding doors and direct aisle access. Similar to the First Class offerings, these seats come equipped with advanced heating and cooling systems, wireless charging capabilities, and cutting-edge entertainment options.
### Premium Economy and Economy Changes
The Premium Economy and Economy Class areas have undergone significant redesigns, aligning with the overall upgraded passenger experience envisioned by SWISS.
