United Airlines Restarts Chicago and D.C. Flights to Tel Aviv

United Airlines has revealed its plans to restart flight services to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) from both Chicago O’Hare Airport (ORD) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The airline previously operated these routes in 2023.

Flights from Chicago are set to commence on November 1, 2025, with four departures each week. Meanwhile, flights from Washington, D.C. will kick off on November 2, 2025, operating three times a week.

At present, United offers two daily flights connecting Tel Aviv and New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK).

In 2025, United Airlines is noted for flying to Tel Aviv more frequently than any other US carrier. The airline has emphasized that its flight services are grounded in thorough assessments of the operational, safety, and security environment in the area.

After the brief but intense regional conflict involving Israel and Iran between June and July 2025, United was the first airline to reestablish its services to Tel Aviv.

“The resumption of these flights reinforces United’s enduring commitment to Tel Aviv,” stated Patrick Quayle, United’s Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning and Alliances.
