BAE Systems Unveils New Airline Avionics Support Name at MRO Europe

BAE Systems recently unveiled a new name for its commercial avionics repair and support division during MRO Europe 2025 in London. The announcement took place on October 15, 2025, led by Jack Stevens, Vice President and General Manager of Controls and Avionics Solutions.

The establishment of Horizon Solutions Aftermarket Services and Support signals BAE Systems’ dedication to adapting to the growing demands of the industry. This new identity highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and development.

With the Horizon Solutions initiative, customers of BAE Systems can now benefit from an enhanced array of services, including:

– Flexible trade-in programs that facilitate easier updates or replacements.
– Overhaul offerings designed to prolong equipment life and enhance performance.
– Package reliability upgrades aimed at boosting fleet uptime.
– Fleet harmonization programs to optimize inventory and minimize costs.

“We are building on our customers’ trust by anticipating their future needs and expanding capabilities to meet them. This is about more than the way we talk about our products; it’s a reflection of our commitment to staying one step ahead for our valued clients,” shared Stevens.

Joining Stevens at the event were other members of the US team, including Andrea Davis, the Director of Services and Support.

BAE Systems customarily provides specialized engineering, maintenance, and repair services, supporting over 600 operators and 33,000 aircraft worldwide.
