Hawaiian Airlines to Introduce Seasonal A330 Flights to Auckland in Nov 2025

Hawaiian Airlines will soon bring back its seasonal flights to New Zealand, offering three weekly services from Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) to Auckland Airport (AKL) starting November 16, 2025.

This seasonal route will run until the end of April 2026, enhancing travel connections between New Zealand and Hawaii. It also provides single-connection options to various destinations across the U.S.

The flights will utilize Hawaiian Airlines’ Airbus A330, which has a capacity of 278 seats. Passengers can enjoy complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the cabin.

Hawaiian Airlines expressed excitement about the seasonal flights coinciding with the Southern Hemisphere summer. This time is perfect for exploring New Zealand’s beautiful landscapes, including vineyard regions like Marlborough and Hawkes Bay, as well as the renowned Great Walks of the country. The timing also supports busy holiday travel.

Andrew Stanbury, Regional Director of the South Pacific for Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines, highlighted the warm anticipation among Kiwi travelers for this service’s return. He noted that the airline teams are eager to welcome passengers with the well-known hospitality they offer.

The combined network power of Hawaiian Airlines will provide guests traveling from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, and New Zealand with more exploratory options than ever before.

The flights will operate according to the following schedule:

H2: Flight Details

MWF: Flight HA 845 departs Honolulu at 13:15 local time and arrives in Auckland at 21:20 local time the following day.

T TH S: Flight HA 846 departs Auckland at 23:30 local time and arrives in Honolulu at 09:20 local time on the same day.
