Boeing faced significant financial challenges in Q4 2024, reporting revenues of $15.2 billion and losses of $5.46 per share. Operational hurdles, including a work stoppage with the IAM, led to a $3.5 billion cash flow loss. Despite these setbacks, Boeing maintained a strong liquidity position with $26.3 billion in cash and delivered 348 commercial airplanes, resulting in a backlog of $521 billion. The Defense, Space & Security segment also struggled, generating $5.4 billion in revenue. However, the Global Services division thrived with $5.1 billion in revenue, demonstrating Boeing’s resilience as it aims for operational stabilization and recovery.
