Airline Relaunches Flights to Destination with World’s Strongest Passport

SINGAPORE- MIAT Mongolian Airlines (OM) has recently commenced exclusive non-stop flights between Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) and Ulaanbaatar Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN). This marks the rebirth of direct air services connecting the two nations after a long hiatus exceeding ten years.

The airline operates this route twice weekly, enabling travel between Singapore and Mongolia in only seven and a half hours. MIAT has not served Changi since 2015.

MIAT Airlines Resumes Flights to Singapore

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has successfully reintegrated Singapore into its network with non-stop flights between Singapore (SIN) and Ulaanbaatar (UBN).

The airline initially uses a 168-seat Boeing 737-8 MAX for this route, transitioning to a 252-seat Boeing 767-300ER starting December 2025.

This new air route removes lengthy layovers in places like Beijing, Seoul, or Hong Kong, shortening travel times by about three hours each way.

Flights are scheduled twice a week, departing Singapore at 19:25 and arriving in Ulaanbaatar at 02:55 the next day. The return trip leaves at 09:30 and arrives back in Singapore at 16:55.

MIAT will operate from Terminal 4 at Changi Airport, where Business Class passengers and eligible members can access the Blossom Lounge through Priority Pass or DragonPass.

The Boeing 767-300ER will become the dedicated aircraft for this route from December 2025. Although not brand new, this 767 variant was delivered to MIAT in 2013 and remains one of the latest passenger aircraft.
