Hours later, a malfunctioning towbar during the pushback of a Frontier Airlines Airbus A321 caused the aircraft to be struck, leading to the evacuation of 116 passengers and crew. The FAA is investigating both incidents, which follow similar collisions involving the two airlines at other airports. Airlines emphasize the need for thorough investigations to enhance passenger safety.
