easyJet Expands: 16 New Routes Launching from 8 UK Airports

LONDON- easyJet (U2) has announced the addition of 16 new summer routes for 2026, enhancing access to various European and leisure destinations from eight UK airports. This expansion includes new flights to Sal in Cape Verde (SID), Bari (BRI), Seville (SVQ), Nice (NCE), Montpellier (MPL), Preveza (PVK), and other popular locations.

The airline is also focusing on new domestic and regional routes. New services will link Birmingham (BHX) with Inverness (INV), along with connections from London Southend (SEN), London Stansted (STN), Liverpool (LPL), Newcastle (NCL), and Glasgow (GLA).

easyJet Expands UK Route Network

easyJet is intensifying its UK operations through a thoughtful combination of leisure and city routes, catering to the growing demand from regional markets. The airline aims to strengthen its footprint at key locations while also increasing capacity to favored summer destinations across Europe and North Africa.

Bristol Airport (BRS) will see three weekly flights to Sal in Cape Verde (SID) starting on May 1, 2026, marking an expansion of the carrier’s existing routes. Additionally, Bristol will introduce twice-weekly services to Bari (BRI) beginning April 18 and Seville (SVQ) starting May 2, providing exciting new Mediterranean travel options.

Birmingham Airport (BHX) is set to add routes to Inverness (INV) from March 30, 2026, and to Nice (NCE) starting May 1, both flying twice weekly to accommodate business and leisure travelers.

Manchester Airport (MAN) will launch flights to Montpellier (MPL) on March 30, 2026, and to Preveza (PVK) starting June 24. Liverpool Airport (LPL) will introduce routes to Lisbon (LIS) on March 31 and to Paphos (PFO) on August 2.

New connections at London Southend Airport (SEN) include flights to Jersey (JER) starting March 30. London Stansted (STN) will enhance its offerings with flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) from March 5, enhancing travel options to the French capital.

Newcastle Airport (NCL) will add a Tenerife (TFS) route starting August 1, which will bolster its easyJet network to 20 routes, coinciding with the introduction of three new aircraft at this base.

Glasgow Airport (GLA) will welcome four new routes, connecting the city to Lisbon (LIS) from March 29, Pisa (PSA) and Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) starting August 1, and Malta (MLA) from August 4. These additions broaden Scotland’s access to both city and long-distance leisure destinations.
