Air Greenland Leases Airbus A320neo from Carlyle
Air Greenland has signed a strategic six-year lease agreement with Carlyle Aviation for an Airbus A320neo, set to enhance connectivity between Greenland and Denmark starting in the summer of 2027. The aircraft will be delivered in December 2026 and will undergo modifications for Greenland’s unique conditions. This move coincides with the expansion of Ilulissat Airport, which will feature a new 2,200-meter runway.
