TAP Air Portugal Launches Premium Economy Cabin on A330neo and A321LR
TAP Air Portugal is stepping up to meet evolving passenger needs by introducing a Premium Economy product. Announced on December 3, 2025, this new cabin will serve as a bridge between business and economy classes on their Airbus A330neo and A321LR aircraft.
The revamped cabins will feature 12 seats, designed in a four-per-row layout that promises a neighbor-free experience, enhancing privacy and comfort. While specific seat details remain under wraps, the configuration aims to provide a more relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to the upgraded seating, travelers can expect an array of service enhancements both before and during their flight. Premium check-in, expedited security access, priority boarding, and an elevated inflight dining experience will be part of this offering. Passengers will have the option to choose from two main meal dishes, with meal selections available up to 24 hours prior to departure.
Along with these perks, travelers in this new cabin will receive an amenity kit, premium pillows, and quality headphones for a more enjoyable journey. The service also offers bonus frequent flyer miles and flexible itinerary changes after booking.
While TAP Air Portugal has yet to specify an exact launch date for the Premium Economy service, the carrier currently provides two travel options on its A330neo and A321LR aircraft: business and economy. Additionally, EconomyXtra seats are available, featuring two extra inches of pitch compared to standard economy seating.
