Deputy President and COO Adel Al Redha has discussed a long-term pilot recruitment strategy lasting eight to ten years. This reflects the airline’s commitment to sustained growth over immediate hiring. Direct Entry Captain Roles at Emirates
For experienced pilots on the Airbus A350 and A380 fleets, Emirates is offering Direct Entry Captain roles. These positions require substantial multi-crew, multi-engine flight experience as well as recent command time on Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft.
Captains can expect an attractive tax-free annual package of up to Dh1.18 million, which includes base pay, flying pay, company-provided accommodation, education allowances for up to three children, 42 days of annual leave, confirmed business-class tickets for yearly travel, extensive insurance, and eligibility for profit-sharing.
Requirements may vary slightly between the A350 and A380 fleets but generally include a valid ICAO ATPL, a Class 1 Medical certificate, and an ICAO English Level of 5 or above. Applications are submitted online along with necessary documents, such as a passport, CV, and medical certification.

Cabin Crew Opportunities in Dubai
Cabin crew positions are essential to Emirates’ global image. The airline prioritizes customer service expertise, adaptability, and safety leadership among its candidates. Although hospitality experience is beneficial, Emirates provides extensive in-house safety training at its Dubai facilities.
Cabin crew members receive an average total monthly salary of Dh11,244, which includes basic pay, flying pay, and overseas meal allowances. Additional perks consist of free accommodation, medical insurance, and travel discounts.

Applicants must fulfill defined flight hour requirements on either Airbus or Boeing fly-by-wire aircraft, in addition to possessing a valid ICAO ATPL and Class 1 Medical certification.
First Officer Positions Across Fleets
Emirates is actively recruiting First Officers for its Boeing 777, Airbus A380, and A350 aircraft. The basic requirement begins at 2,000 total flight hours, with enhanced compensation packages for pilots with more than 4,000 hours.
Tax-free annual earnings can reach up to Dh900,000, along with housing assistance, educational benefits, annual leave travel perks, medical coverage, and contributions to a pension scheme. Candidates with Frozen ATPLs may also be considered under specific conditions.

AMEL Scholarship Programme for UAE Nationals
For Emirati candidates, Emirates offers a fully funded Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License scholarship through the Emirates Engineering Training College in Dubai. This program spans about five years and is recognized by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.
The first phase focuses on both theoretical and practical training, while the second phase provides hands-on experience with live aircraft. Monthly salaries progressively increase, potentially reaching nearly Dh24,000 upon completion.
