ST Engineering Boosts MRO Services for Delta’s A330, A350, and 767 Fleets

ST Engineering has announced that it will continue its collaboration with Delta Air Lines, providing airframe maintenance support for the airline’s Airbus A330, A350, and Boeing 767 fleets. This comes after a new contract was signed during the Singapore Airshow 2026.

On February 4, 2026, ST Engineering confirmed the strengthening of its long-standing partnership with Delta TechOps, the maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) division of Delta. At the Singapore Airshow, both parties engaged in a ceremonial signing that solidified a five-year contract renewal, covering operations from 2026 to 2031.

In addition to comprehensive airframe maintenance for Delta’s Airbus A330, A350, and Boeing 767 fleets, ST Engineering will also implement cabin modifications for the A330 and A350 aircraft. This initiative aims to enhance the passenger experience onboard Delta flights.

“Our ongoing airframe collaboration with Delta TechOps highlights our role as a trusted partner, bolstered by years of expertise,” said a representative from ST Engineering. The partnership, which has lasted over three decades, continues to evolve.

During the Singapore Airshow, ST Engineering also entered into a multi-year MRO agreement with Xiamen Airlines, focusing on maintenance support for the airline’s CFM LEAP-1A engines with their inaugural Performance Restoration Shop Visit (PRSV). This partnership with Xiamen Airlines dates back more than 35 years, initially involving the maintenance of JT8D, CFM56-3, and CFM56-7B engines.

“For airlines, developing an engine overhaul strategy is a pivotal aspect of Engineering and Maintenance,” remarked Tang Jianqi, Deputy General Manager of Engineering and Maintenance at Xiamen Airlines. He emphasized that a stable and long-term strategic partnership is essential when selecting a capable engine overhaul manufacturer like ST Engineering.
