Aegean Airlines Expands Fleet with Eight New Airbus A321neos

This brings Aegean’s total orders for the A320neo family to 60, with 37 already delivered. CEO Dimitris Gerogiannis highlighted the order’s importance for competitiveness, as the A321neo will soon comprise two-thirds of their Airbus fleet. The aircraft will improve operational efficiency and passenger experience, featuring advanced amenities like satellite connectivity and in-flight entertainment. Aegean plans to expand its network to 21 domestic and 91 international destinations, reinforcing its market position while focusing on sustainability through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish budget carrier, has placed a significant order for 100 Boeing 737 MAX-10 aircraft, with options for an additional 100, valued at approximately $36 billion.
