Starting January 2025, the airline will offer direct flights from Manila International Airport (MNL) to New Chitose Airport (CTS) in Sapporo, Japan. Beginning January 16, 2025, Cebu Pacific will operate flights between Manila and Sapporo three times a week—specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Notably, CEB will be the only airline providing direct flights on this route. This strategic move is expected to significantly reduce travel time to around five hours, compared to the lengthy layovers of up to ten hours required by other carriers.
