Delta Air Lines is set to elevate the in-flight dining experience by introducing Shake Shack burgers on its flights from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) starting December 1, 2024. This exciting collaboration promises to bring a taste of one of America’s favorite burger joints to travelers, making air travel even more enjoyable.

As part of Delta’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience, the airline plans to expand Shake Shack service to additional U.S. markets throughout 2025. First-Class passengers on routes exceeding 900 miles will have the option to pre-select a Shake Shack Cheeseburger as their meal choice, catering to the growing demand for high-quality in-flight dining.

Delicious Comfort Food at 35,000 Feet

“A delicious cheeseburger is an iconic comfort food,” said Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Delta’s Onboard Service. “Our customers know that burgers are among the top ordered menu items we offer, and we’re thrilled to elevate the offering with Shake Shack.” Laster emphasized that the partnership aligns with both brands’ values, focusing on service excellence and community support.

Passengers will enjoy customizable burgers, allowing them to create their signature ShackBurger with popular toppings like tomato, lettuce, and Shake Shack’s renowned ShackSauce. Each meal also includes chips, a Caesar salad, and a decadent dark chocolate brownie, reminiscent of the brand’s beloved dessert offerings.

A Partnership Built on Shared Values

“At Shake Shack, we’re always looking for innovative ways to meet our guests where they are, even at 35,000 feet,” stated Michael Kark, President of Global Licensing at Shake Shack. He added, “Taking our beloved cheeseburger to new heights, Shake Shack is proud to partner with Delta as we elevate the in-flight dining and hospitality experience for travelers across the country.”

The Shake Shack Cheeseburger will be available for pre-selection, allowing customers to make and edit their meal choices up to 24 hours prior to departure through the Fly Delta app or an email link sent seven days before their flight.
