Hindon Airport: A Convenient Alternative

Hindon Airport is positioned as a viable alternative to Indira Gandhi International Airport, catering to passengers from Central and East Delhi, as well as surrounding areas like Noida, Indirapuram, and Vaishali. This new route not only facilitates smoother travel for these regions but also serves as a key gateway for travelers from western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, significantly reducing travel time to cities such as Dehradun and Haridwar.

The introduction of these flights demonstrates Air India Express’s commitment to enhancing domestic connectivity and meeting the growing demand for affordable air travel. Inaugural fares are competitively priced, starting at ₹4,400 for Hindon–Kolkata, ₹4,900 for Hindon–Goa, and ₹6,000 for Hindon–Bengaluru.

Conclusion: A New Era of Air Travel

With this expansion, Air India Express will become the first airline to operate flights from both major airports in the Delhi region, reinforcing its position in the competitive aviation market. After announcing flights to Hindon in June 2024 and subsequently halting bookings, the airline is now poised to fulfill its promise of enhanced connectivity.
