Singapore Airlines Unveils $45 Million Lounge Transformation at Changi Airport

Singapore Airlines (SQ), recognized as the world’s best airline, is set to enhance its SilverKris and KrisFlyer Gold lounges at Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) Terminal 2 with a substantial investment of $45 million. This ambitious project aims to elevate the ground experience for passengers over the next two years, starting on April 15, 2025, and projected to conclude by mid-2027.

The renovations promise to deliver 50% more space and seating capacity in the lounges, along with upgraded facilities, signature elements reminiscent of Singapore Airlines’ flagship lounges in Terminal 3, and an expanded selection of food and drink options.

Features of the New First Class SilverKris Lounge

The redesigned First Class SilverKris Lounge will boast:

  • Premium Bar Experience: Including barista services available in the morning.
  • Live Cooking Stations: Showcasing a variety of popular Singaporean, Asian, and Western dishes.

  • Business Class SilverKris Lounge: Construction will begin in late 2025.
  • KrisFlyer Gold Lounge: Renovations are set to start in the first half of 2026.
