Qatar Boosts Winter 2025/26 Travel with New Flights to Key Destinations

Qatar Airways has announced updates to its winter schedule for 2025-2026, boosting flight frequencies to key cities like Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai, and Singapore. This adjustment aims to cater to the growing global demand for these routes.

In a statement issued on November 23, 2025, the airline mentioned that this increase is part of a broader enhancement of its winter schedule. More flights have also been introduced to over 15 major destinations, including Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket, and Toronto.

Furthermore, Qatar Airways continues to bolster connectivity through Hamad International Airport (DOH), having incorporated nearly 3,000 additional flights in 2025 to accommodate rising travel needs.

Expanded Weekly Flights to Asia and Africa

Under the revamped winter schedule, Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) from 14 to 17 weekly starting December 17, 2025. This adjustment will facilitate seamless connections between Southeast Asia and Jeddah, London, and Paris through Doha.

Additionally, from December 15, 2025, to March 28, 2026, services to Lagos (LOS) will rise from 10 to 14 weekly flights. This enhancement significantly improves the connectivity between Nigeria and Qatar Airways’ extensive global network of over 170 destinations.

From January 1, 2026, until March 28, 2026, flights to Shanghai (PVG) will also see an increase, growing from seven to 10 weekly departures. These additional flights will strengthen connectivity between Asia and key destinations in Qatar’s network, including Algiers, São Paulo, and Warsaw.

Lastly, beginning January 12, 2026, Qatar Airways plans to operate selected flights to Singapore using the Airbus A380, which will offer enhanced capacity and an elevated premium travel experience.
