Air France Expands La Première Service to Four More Cities, Celebrates Fleet Milestones
After the successful introduction of the La Première cabin earlier this year, Air France is set to expand its first-class service to four additional cities, three of which are located in the United States.
The revamped La Première cabin made its debut in March 2025, featuring luxury suites that span nearly 3.5 square meters. Passengers can enjoy a seat that seamlessly transforms into a two-meter-long bed alongside a chaise longue.
These suites are showcased in Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, each featuring four exclusive suites separated by a thick, floor-to-ceiling curtain. Passengers can admire views from up to five windows in each cabin.
The inaugural flight of the Boeing 777-300ER departed from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on April 3, 2025, heading to New York John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK). Additional routes were quickly introduced, covering destinations such as Abidjan, Dubai, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo-Haneda, and Washington, D.C.
On December 5, 2025, Air France announced further expansion of its La Première service, which will now include flights from Paris to Atlanta, Boston, Houston, and Tel Aviv.
New Destinations for La Première Cabin
Flights featuring the La Première cabin will begin operation to Atlanta on March 29, 2026, followed by Houston on July 6, 2026. The Boston route will see the new cabin introduced on July 20, 2026.
In contrast, services to Tel Aviv from Paris will start earlier, on December 15, 2025. Each of these four destinations will offer daily flights, enhancing Air France’s premium travel options.
Air France Airbus A220 and A350 Celebrations
Apart from the La Première expansion, Air France announced a milestone on December 5, 2025, with the addition of its 50th Airbus A220, aptly named ‘Valbonne’, along with its 40th Airbus A350, known as ‘Noirmoutier-en-L’Île’.
The A220, registered as F-HPNZ, was delivered on November 7, 2025, and commenced commercial operations on November 17, 2025, with a flight to London Heathrow Airport (LHR).
Air France referred to the Airbus A220 as a fundamental part of its strategy for renewing short- and medium-haul fleets. The 50th A220 marks the ninth delivery this year, with three more expected by December 2025.
The new Airbus A350, bearing the registration F-HUVT, was delivered on November 20, 2025, and is set to join Air France’s long-haul fleet shortly.
As of now, Air France operates 40 Airbus A350s, including five that have been delivered this year, with an additional delivery anticipated by year-end.
“Air France invests over one billion euros yearly in its fleet renewal, receiving nearly two new aircraft each month—an unmatched rate in the airline’s history,” stated a representative from Air France.
