New Routes and Increased Frequencies

In addition to the newly introduced routes, Air Canada will also increase the frequency of flights to several established destinations. Here’s a summary of the upcoming changes:

  • New Routes:

Commitment to Travel Expansion

Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President of Revenue and Network Planning at Air Canada, remarked, “We are excited to offer our customers a wide array of destinations for Summer 2025 travel. Our hubs in Toronto and Montreal will provide over 100,000 weekly seats across 30 destinations in Europe and North Africa.”

New services to Southern Europe, including Naples and Porto, will open up fresh travel opportunities for passengers. The reinstatement of flights to Prague from Toronto and London-Heathrow from Ottawa marks a significant return to key international routes.

Comprehensive Flight Offerings

For the peak summer season, Air Canada will operate over 100,000 weekly seats to Europe and North Africa, alongside more than 160,000 seats to the United States. The airline’s global network will expand to cover over 145 destinations across six continents, with Canada alone seeing more than 75,000 daily seats and 600 flights to 50 airports.

Enhancements to US Transborder Services

Air Canada is also expanding its transborder operations with new routes to Nashville from Vancouver and Cincinnati from Montreal. The airline is resuming service to Jacksonville from Toronto, marking it as the only non-stop route between Canada and that city. Additional daily flights will be added to Indianapolis, Tampa, Boston, and Dallas-Fort Worth from Toronto, as well as to Nashville, Denver, and Raleigh-Durham from Montreal.

Strengthening Asian Connections

In a bid to bolster its Asian market offerings, Air Canada will resume seasonal service to Seoul from Montreal and Osaka from Toronto using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet—both routes were initially launched in Summer 2024.

Air Canada’s extensive Summer 2025 schedule underlines its commitment to connecting travelers with diverse destinations worldwide. “Our global network continues to be the bridge that brings the world closer,” Galardo concluded.

Conclusion

With these exciting developments, Air Canada is poised to provide travelers with exceptional options for their summer adventures in 2025. Whether you’re planning a trip to Europe, the US, or Asia, Air Canada is ready to meet your travel needs.
