TORONTO – Starting May 1, 2025, Porter Airlines will introduce year-round flights connecting Toronto Pearson International Airport with New York’s LaGuardia Airport. This exciting expansion adds up to three daily roundtrip flights, significantly bolstering Porter’s presence in the competitive New York market.

New Daily Flights to LaGuardia

Porter Airlines will operate from the newly modernized Terminal B at LaGuardia, a facility resulting from a $5.1 billion redevelopment project. The airline’s schedule includes:

• Morning Departure: Toronto at 7:15 a.m., arriving in New York at 8:55 a.m.
• Midday Departure: Toronto at 2:50 p.m., arriving at 4:30 p.m.
• Evening Departure: Toronto at 7:25 p.m., landing at 9:05 p.m. (excluding Saturdays).

Return flights from LaGuardia feature:

• Early Morning: 6:15 a.m. departure, arriving in Toronto at 7:55 a.m. (operates daily except Sundays).
• Additional Departures: 9:55 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. flights, landing in Toronto at 11:35 a.m. and 7:10 p.m., respectively.

This schedule is designed to accommodate travelers’ diverse preferences throughout the day.

Enhancing Connectivity Through Toronto

In addition to the New York route, Porter Airlines is enhancing its service from Toronto Pearson by connecting to eight major Canadian cities, including Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. The airline’s partnership with JetBlue expands travel options across the southern United States via LaGuardia connections.

Porter will utilize its state-of-the-art Embraer E195-E2 aircraft on this route, featuring:

In addition to the LaGuardia expansion, Porter Airlines is also launching a new nonstop service from Ottawa to Victoria, British Columbia, starting May 15, 2025. • Departures from Ottawa: 8:35 a.m., arriving in Victoria at 10:55 a.m.
• Return Flights: Departing Victoria at 11:50 a.m., landing in Ottawa at 7:35 p.m. (operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays).
