Eva Air Launches New Taipei-Dallas Flights
EVA Air will launch new flights to Dallas (DFW), Texas, starting November 3, 2024, as part of its expansion strategy to meet rising passenger demand in the Asia-Pacific region. United Airlines Introduces Starlink WiFi on Regional Jets
United Airlines has begun rolling out SpaceX’s Starlink WiFi on its regional aircraft fleet, enhancing in-flight internet services. Announced on March 7, 2025, this initiative follows a significant agreement with SpaceX in September 2024 to equip its entire fleet. The first upgraded aircraft is an Embraer E175, with plans to outfit the entire regional fleet by the end of 2025. Starlink promises speeds of up to 250 Mbps, outperforming current systems significantly. Installation takes just eight hours, and the system’s lightweight design facilitates easier maintenance.
