Emirates to Launch Retrofitted B777s on Seoul and Stansted Routes

Emirates Unveils Enhanced B777 Aircraft for New Routes to Seoul and London-Stansted

Emirates Airlines is set to enhance travel experiences with the introduction of its retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft on key routes, including Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN) and London-Stansted Airport (STN). This upgrade not only marks the expansion of Emirates’ fleet but also significantly improves customer comfort and options. The first city to receive this upgraded aircraft was Geneva Airport (GVA) in August 2024, and now, travelers can look forward to more luxurious journeys starting in April and May 2025.

The upgraded Boeing 777 will commence flights to Seoul on April 14, 2025, and to London-Stansted on May 7, 2025. This strategic move reflects Emirates’ commitment to providing travelers with modern, high-quality services and amenities.

New Routes and Flight Schedule

The introduction of the four-class Boeing 777 on these routes offers passengers enhanced cabin features. The flights EK324 and EK325 will connect Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Seoul three times a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This makes Seoul the second East Asian destination to benefit from Emirates’ upgraded aircraft.

Upcoming Destinations with Enhanced Boeing 777

In addition to Seoul and London-Stansted, Emirates plans to roll out its retrofitted B777 to several other major Asian cities by July 2025, including:

  • Tokyo-Narita International Airport (NRT)
  • Tokyo-Haneda Airport (HND)
  • Osaka Itami Airport (ITM)
  • Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)
  • Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX)

Expansion in the UK and Europe

London-Stansted will join the ranks of London-Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Edinburgh Airport (EDI) as the third UK destination served by the enhanced Boeing 777. Furthermore, travelers can enjoy the upgraded experience on various European routes, including:

  • Brussels Airport (BRU)
  • Zurich Airport (ZRH)
