Allegiant Expands Network with New Nonstop Routes and US City Addition

Allegiant is set to introduce five new nonstop routes that will connect eight cities across the United States, marking an exciting expansion into popular vacation destinations.

On August 12, 2025, Allegiant announced that Huntsville, Alabama, via Huntsville International Airport (HSV), will join its expanding network. These new flights are expected to start later this year and into early 2026. This latest development follows an announcement made in July 2025, where Allegiant confirmed seven additional nonstop routes linking 12 U.S. cities.

Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the expansion, stating, “This initiative underscores our dedication to linking underserved communities with affordable and convenient travel options. By incorporating Fort Myers and enhancing service to several beach locales, we’re enabling travelers to enjoy nonstop access to sunny spots, allowing them to spend less time at the airport and more time on vacation.”

The new routes from Huntsville Airport will include flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), starting on November 19, 2025, and to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) in St. Petersburg, Florida, beginning March 5, 2026. Furthermore, a route connecting Huntsville Airport to Sanford, Florida, via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) will also launch on February 12, 2026.

Additional routes will connect Orlando International Airport (MCO) with Appleton, Wisconsin, via Appleton International Airport (ATW), starting January 16, 2026. Another route will link Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida through Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) with Rochester, New York, via Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) beginning February 13, 2026.

“In a time when travelers are increasingly looking for cost-effective travel options, Allegiant is committed to making dream vacations feasible with budget-friendly fares and exceptional customer service,” a spokesperson for the airline mentioned.

Alongside announcing these new routes, Allegiant has extended its flight schedule through May 2026.
