The inaugural return flight, LH715, took off the same day at 10:45 local time, marking the official introduction of Lufthansa’s latest cabin generation in Asia.

Lufthansa A350 Allegris to Tokyo
Lufthansa’s Allegris initiative represents a significant evolution in the airline’s premium travel offerings, showcasing the company’s most substantial investment to date in onboard amenities.
Focused on individualization, Allegris enhances passenger comfort through innovative design, flexible seating arrangements, and modern cabin features.
Heiko Reitz, Chief Commercial Officer at Lufthansa Airlines, noted that the new service underscores the airline’s dedication to quality and customer-centric design. He highlighted how personalization and privacy—elements valued by Japanese travelers—are key aspects of the Allegris experience.
Currently, Lufthansa Group operates 22 weekly flights from Europe to Japan. The introduction of Allegris on the Munich–Tokyo route improves connectivity through the airline’s premier Munich hub while establishing a new standard for transcontinental travel comfort.

Inside the Allegris First Class
The Allegris First Class on the Airbus A350-900 features two private suites and an innovative “Suite Plus” designed for solo or paired travelers.
Each suite is equipped with seats almost one meter wide, which can be individually heated or cooled, offering full control over the in-flight atmosphere.
High walls, lockable doors, and personal wardrobes ensure complete privacy, while spacious tables and large entertainment screens create a sophisticated environment for dining or working. To enhance the experience, passengers can enjoy wireless over-ear headphones and adjustable lighting.
The Suite Plus option allows two guests to travel together in a shared private suite without sacrificing comfort or exclusivity—marking a first for Lufthansa’s cabin offerings.

Strengthening Lufthansa’s Asia Strategy
The launch of Allegris on the Munich–Tokyo route is part of Lufthansa Group’s comprehensive strategy to enhance its premium services in the Asia-Pacific region.
By using the upgraded A350-900 aircraft, Lufthansa further establishes Munich as a key hub for travelers to Japan, connecting them seamlessly to the airline’s extensive global network.
This introduction also signifies the beginning of a broader implementation of Allegris across Lufthansa’s long-haul fleet, including future deliveries of A350 and Boeing 787 aircraft, as the airline continues its modernization efforts.
