Qantas Unveils New Domestic Menu Featuring Artisan Toasties and Aussie Favorites

Qantas has made an exciting announcement regarding a refresh of its inflight menus across all domestic flights.

The Australian flag carrier plans to introduce nearly 70 new or updated dishes, available during six distinct meal services throughout the day. This fresh menu rollout kicks off this month for both Business and Economy class passengers.

In consideration of frequent travelers, Qantas will update the menu every six weeks. According to Catriona Larritt, Qantas Group Chief Customer and Digital Officer, the revamped offerings aim to highlight Australian cuisine and local producers.

“We proudly serve over 20 million meals each year and are thrilled to introduce an updated menu with even more delightful options on every flight,” Larritt stated.

She emphasized that customers appreciate both variety and quality during their journeys, leading the airline to carefully select dishes that reflect Australia’s rich flavors while also supporting local enterprises.

For instance, passengers can enjoy beef and mushroom pies from Simmone Logue in Sydney, artisan toasties from The Handmade Food Co. in Queensland, and desserts from Manna from Heaven in Sydney. Additionally, Qantas is collaborating with numerous First Nations businesses, including offerings from Uncle Herb Smith’s DreamTime Tuka, which introduces Indigenous bush tucker at cruising altitude.
