Embraer Partners with Airlink in Dubai to Enhance E195-E2 Fleet Support
Embraer has forged a new partnership in Dubai with South African airline Airlink to support the introduction of its latest fleet, which consists of 10 E195-E2 jets leased from Azorra.
On November 16, 2025, just before the Dubai Airshow, Embraer announced that Airlink has entered into a Component Pool Program agreement designed to cover these new aircraft.
Airlink has a longstanding relationship with Embraer, having benefited from the Brazilian manufacturer’s Pool Program since 2001, allowing its existing fleet of Embraer aircraft to operate efficiently.
“By adding the new E2s, the program will support a total of 78 aircraft, helping Airlink minimize fleet downtime while enhancing operational reliability and availability,” an Embraer spokesperson stated.
In a prior announcement in August 2025, Airlink disclosed that it had secured a lease for 10 new Embraer E195-E2s from Azorra.
Recently, the South African airline revealed it received the first three E195-E2 jets, with plans to commence service in December 2025.
“Enhancing our component inventory agreement to include the new Embraer E195-E2s will provide us with crucial assurance as we start operating these aircraft. It will enable us to realize the extensive operational, commercial, and economic benefits we anticipate from these additions,” said de Villiers Engelbrecht, CEO of Airlink.
Embraer’s Pool Program offers comprehensive component support across more than 60 airlines globally, utilizing the company’s technical know-how and robust service network.
The initiative aims to deliver “substantial savings and efficiencies in component repair and inventory holding costs,” while also “reducing warehousing requirements and operating under guaranteed performance standards.”
“We are thrilled to support the E2 operations at Airlink, representing a benchmark of innovation and efficiency within regional aviation. Embraer appreciates the confidence Airlink has shown in our aircraft and services, and we remain committed to facilitating their success with industry-leading solutions,” said Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support.
Naufel further emphasized, “This Pool Program agreement highlights our dedication to operational excellence and reinforces Embraer’s role in supporting Airlink’s expansion goals in the region.”
