Vietnam Airlines Launches New 787 Flights to the World’s Happiest Nation

Copenhagen- Vietnam Airlines (VN) and various tourism agencies from Vietnam recently organized the Vietnam Europe Tourism Promotion Program in Copenhagen (CPH). This initiative aims to strengthen ties between Vietnam and the Nordic region.

During the event, Vietnam Airlines unveiled its new nonstop route from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Copenhagen (CPH), marking a significant milestone as the first direct air service between Vietnam and Denmark.

Vietnam Airlines plans to begin its nonstop flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Copenhagen on December 15, 2025.

This new service will reduce travel time to approximately twelve hours, establishing a direct pathway between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe. The airline will offer three weekly flights utilizing the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

• Flights from Ho Chi Minh City are scheduled to depart at 22:45 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
• Return journeys from Copenhagen will take off at 10:50 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

This route enhances the airline’s European network, positioning Vietnam favorably in the Nordic travel market.

At the event, Vietnam Airlines and their Danish counterparts entered into four key cooperation agreements aimed at nurturing long-term growth in both tourism and aviation sectors.

A memorandum of understanding between Vietnam Airlines and Copenhagen Airport will enhance infrastructure collaboration, improve service quality, and initiate joint promotional campaigns.

Both parties are dedicated to developing tourism products that encourage Danish visitors to explore Vietnam while facilitating outbound travel from Vietnam to Northern Europe.

Additionally, a trilateral agreement involving Vietnam Airlines, Saigontourist, and Nordic Travel aims to broaden package tour options and elevate customer experiences. These collaborations create a cohesive framework for sustainable advancement in aviation and tourism.
