BA Cityflyer Introduces New Summer Routes
BA Cityflyer is set to commence flights to Toulon Saint-Tropez (TLN), Olbia (OLB), and San Sebastián (EAS). This seasonal service aims to cater to the increasing demand for leisure travel and provide more options for exploring Western Europe.
Each flight will feature a Club Europe cabin, which includes additional baggage allowances, priority boarding, and gourmet meals, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.
This development strengthens BA Cityflyer’s role within the British Airways framework by increasing access to popular spots like the French Riviera, Sardinia, and northern Spain from various regions in the UK. Current travel trends suggest strong performance for all three routes during the upcoming season.

LCY–Toulon Service
Between 23 May and 1 September 2026, BA Cityflyer will run two weekly flights connecting London City with Toulon Saint-Tropez, located just 30 miles from this elegant resort area.
The airline plans to operate flights on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting at ÂŁ127 each way. London City Airport provides quick access to central London, taking only 22 minutes, with a streamlined layout that ensures kerb-to-gate processes can be completed in under 15 minutes.
This new route complements existing seasonal services to Nice, Bergerac, and Chambéry, enhancing the travel options available to customers.

Stansted–Olbia Route
From 23 May to 27 September 2026, flights from London Stansted to Olbia will be available twice weekly on Saturdays and Sundays, meeting the rising interest in Sardinia as a holiday destination.
This beautiful island saw nearly 18.9 million overnight stays in 2024, reflecting a 38% increase from the previous year. This new route complements BA Cityflyer’s existing London City service to Olbia, launching in 2025, allowing for up to five weekly flights from LCY and two weekly flights from STN in summer 2026. Prices start at ÂŁ127 each way.

Glasgow–San Sebastián Route
From 18 July to 8 September 2026, BA Cityflyer will operate flights between Glasgow and San Sebastián twice a week. This provides a new travel option for Scottish visitors looking to explore the Basque region of Spain, famed for its beautiful coastlines and rich culture.
The airline already offers flights from London City and Edinburgh, and this new route will increase departures to a total of three weekly flights from LCY, with two flights each from EDI and GLA.
