DELHI- Air India (AI) has announced plans to add 275 more flights this month to fill the void left by the recent 10 percent capacity reduction for IndiGo (6E) as mandated by the government. The airline has reached out to the aviation ministry to clarify how long these cuts will last, allowing them to allocate resources more effectively.

The ministry is finalizing which IndiGo routes will be affected, including major hubs like Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM). Some of these routes will be temporarily reassigned to Air India, Air India Express (IX), and Akasa (QP) to ensure smooth operations during peak travel times.
