Spirit Airlines Unveils Festive A320 for a Merry Christmas Season
Spirit Airlines is embracing the holiday spirit this Christmas with the launch of a remarkable Airbus A320-200, adorned in a festive design approved by Santa himself.
2025 has been a challenging year for Spirit Airlines, as the airline has undergone significant structural and operational changes due to its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings that commenced in August. Despite these hardships, it’s delightful to witness the airline celebrating the festive season amid the difficulties faced by both the company and its employees.
The new holiday livery was unveiled on December 18, 2025. This A320, which has been in service for 11 years, boasts a cheerful holiday sweater design complete with snowman and gingerbread man motifs.
Throughout the winter season, this aircraft will be in active service, as Spirit aims to connect families and friends with over 8,900 flights scheduled.
“Providing the best value in travel becomes even more significant when it reunites families and friends during the holidays,” said Rana Ghosh, Senior Vice President and CCO at Spirit Airlines. “We look forward to welcoming our Guests this holiday season and continuing to connect them to their loved ones and favorite destinations in 2026.”
Spirit Airlines anticipates its busiest travel days will be December 19, 22, 26, 2025, and January 2 and 5, 2026.
