Bengaluru Airport (Kempegowda International Airport)
Handling over 40 million passengers in 2024, Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is the third busiest airport in India. IndiGo is significantly boosting its operations here, with the following key additions:

- Madurai: 5 daily flights (+1)
- Thiruvananthapuram: 4 daily flights (+1)

- Chennai: Reduced from 11 to 9 daily flights.

As India’s fourth busiest airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) is seeing an increase in domestic flights for Summer 2025. Key updates include:

- Ahmedabad: 6 daily flights (+3 weekly)

- Coimbatore: 6 daily flights (+2)

Service Reductions:
- Chennai: Reduced from 12 to 10 daily flights.

Chennai Airport (Chennai International Airport)
Chennai International Airport (MAA) remains a critical hub, particularly for connections to Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Updates include:

- Resumption of daily flights to Kuwait City.
- Increased domestic options: additional Kozhikode service and more flights to Tuticorin and Ahmedabad.
Service Reductions:
- Loss of 14 weekly flights to Bengaluru, alongside reductions to Hyderabad, Port Blair, and Jaipur routes.
While Chennai gains key international and regional flights, it faces significant cuts in metro-to-metro connectivity.
Kolkata Airport (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport)
As Eastern India’s busiest airport, Kolkata (CCU) is experiencing mixed changes, including:

- A sixth daily flight to Agartala.
- Additional services to Itanagar and Ahmedabad.
Service Reductions:
- Major cuts to flights to Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, and Patna, with reduced international flights to Bangkok.

International Expansions
IndiGo is also enhancing its international network for Summer 2025, launching two new international destinations:
- Seychelles from Mumbai: Operating four times a week starting March 22, 2025.
- Krabi: Daily flights from Mumbai and Bengaluru, starting March 23 and March 30, 2025, respectively.
Additionally, new regional flights include a daily service between Tiruchirappalli and Jaffna, as well as the resumption of daily Chennai-Kuwait flights.
