Qatar Airways Expands North and South American Services with Increased Flights to Toronto and São Paulo
DOHA – Qatar Airways (QR) is set to enhance its services to North and South America, announcing increased flight frequencies to Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) in Canada and São Paulo/Guarulhos–Governador André Franco Montoro International Airport (GRU) in Brazil. Starting June 19, 2025, the airline will introduce five weekly flights to Toronto and boost its São Paulo operations to 17 weekly flights beginning June 25, 2025. This expansion highlights Qatar Airways’ commitment to connecting travelers with key global destinations.

Increased Flights to Toronto
In a significant move, Qatar Airways will increase its Toronto service from one flight to five weekly flights. This change comes just six months after the route’s launch, showcasing the robust demand from travelers. The five weekly flights will operate every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, starting June 19, 2025. Plans are also in place to increase this service to daily flights during the winter of 2025.

- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departure at 08:10, Arrival at 15:00
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departure at 21:00, Arrival at 16:40
Winter Schedule (Daily Service)
- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departure at 08:25, Arrival at 14:40
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departure at 20:10, Arrival at 16:55
Expanded São Paulo Service
Qatar Airways is also expanding its São Paulo service from 14 to 17 weekly flights, effective June 25, 2025. The additional flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays will enhance connectivity for travelers from regions such as the Far East, Middle East, and Australia to South America’s largest city.

Enhanced Connectivity Across the Americas

Key connection points include major cities such as Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Buenos Aires (EZE), Lima (LIM), and Santiago de Chile (SCL).
