AirAsia X Launches Direct Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Karachi

AirAsia X is set to revolutionize travel between Malaysia and Pakistan by launching direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) to Jinnah International Airport (KHI) in Karachi. Starting May 30, 2025, these direct flights will operate four times a week, providing an affordable and convenient travel option for both Malaysian and Pakistani travelers.

This new route marks AirAsia X as the only low-cost carrier offering nonstop flights between these two bustling cities, enhancing connectivity and catering to the growing demand for travel between Malaysia and Pakistan.

The direct flights will be available every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, with the following schedule:

  • Flight D7108:

    • Departing Kuala Lumpur: 18:25 local time
    • Arriving in Karachi: 21:30 local time
  • Flight D7109:
    • Departing Karachi: 22:45 local time
    • Arriving in Kuala Lumpur: 08:05 local time the following day

AirAsia X recognizes the significant Pakistani community in Malaysia, which numbers over 200,000 according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This community represents the largest Pakistani diaspora in Southeast Asia and the sixth largest group of foreign workers in the country.
