These state-of-the-art suites will debut on the Chicago O’Hare (ORD) to London Heathrow (LHR) route, followed by the Philadelphia (PHL) to London Heathrow (LHR) route after a brief domestic trial. A recent report from aviation expert JonNYC reveals the finalized layout for the reconfigured Boeing 777-300ER, which will include:

• 30 Extra Legroom Coach Seats

The updated cabin layout, effective from April 2025, also details specific features such as baby bassinet locations, exit rows, and designated seating areas without movable armrests.

Operational Changes: Galley and Lavatory Reconfigurations

The aircraft modifications extend beyond seating arrangements to include operational spaces. The aft galley will be reduced to half its current size, while the mid-coach galley will be removed entirely.

However, these changes have raised concerns about lavatory access for passengers, particularly during international flights returning to the U.S. where TSA regulations dictate that passengers must use facilities within their ticketed cabin section.

With only three lavatories serving both premium economy and coach passengers—all located at the rear of the aircraft—there may be challenges regarding passenger flow during busy pre-landing periods.
