Air India Expands Daily Non-Stop Flights from Delhi to Tokyo Haneda

Air India, owned by the Tata Group, is set to enhance its international connectivity with the expansion of its non-stop service between Delhi (DEL) and Tokyo Haneda (HND). Starting June 15, 2025, the airline will increase its flights from four times a week to daily operations, bolstering travel options for passengers and supporting the growing trade and tourism between India and Japan.

The transition to daily flights follows Air India’s recent move to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport from Narita on March 31, 2025. The service will operate using the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, known for its efficiency and passenger comfort.

With the introduction of daily flights, passengers can now enjoy seamless connections to various domestic Indian cities, including:

Moreover, the expanded codeshare agreement with All Nippon Airways (ANA) facilitates smooth transfers from Tokyo Haneda to six major cities in Japan—Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka, and Sapporo—allowing travelers to check their baggage through to their final destinations.
