Emirates Launches New A350 Service from Dubai to Amman: A Milestone in Connectivity
Emirates Airline has officially inaugurated its brand new A350 service at Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), marking the start of its second daily flight from Dubai to Amman. This eagerly anticipated launch, which was originally set for June 1, 2025, has been moved up by two weeks, according to a statement released by the airline on May 20, 2025.
On May 19, 2025, Flight EK 905 took off from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at 22:10, arriving in Amman, Jordan, at 00:15 the following day. The return leg, departing Amman at 02:05 local time, landed back in Dubai at 06:05. This new A350 service underscores Emirates’ long-standing commitment to Jordan, which has been in place since 1986.
Strengthening Ties Between Dubai and Amman
Emirates’ introduction of the A350 service is not just a new flight; it represents a significant investment in the Jordanian market. The airline aims to enhance connectivity, promote tourism, and bolster trade links between Dubai, Amman, and beyond. In addition to the A350, Emirates continues to operate its flagship A380 on flight EK903/904, further solidifying its presence in the region.
Features of the Emirates A350
The three-class Emirates A350 boasts 312 seats, designed for maximum comfort and efficiency:
- Business Class: 32 lie-flat seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout
- Premium Economy: 21 seats in a 2-3-2 configuration
- Economy Class: 259 seats in a 3-3-3 layout
Passengers can expect higher ceilings, wider aisles, and a quieter cabin, enhancing their travel experience.
Expanding Global Reach
Currently, the Emirates A350 services six other short- and medium-haul destinations, including Edinburgh, Kuwait, and Mumbai. The airline plans to expand this fleet, with future destinations such as Oslo, Istanbul, and Ho Chi Minh City set to be added by the end of 2025. Ultimately, Emirates aims to serve 17 global cities with the A350, showcasing its commitment to expanding its network.
