PHOENIX – In an exciting development for travelers, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego has announced that STARLUX Airlines (JX) will soon launch direct flights between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and Taoyuan Airport (TPE) in Taipei. During her annual State of the City Address, Mayor Gallego revealed that the new service is set to begin early next year, pending final government approvals. The route will operate three to four flights per week, establishing a vital link between Arizona and Taiwan.
This announcement comes on the heels of a significant investment from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), which is committing $165 billion to its facilities in Phoenix.
