LOT Polish Airlines Reveals Exciting Cabin Designs for New A220 Fleet

LOT Polish Airlines recently introduced the interior design for its upcoming Airbus A220 aircraft on August 27, 2025.

This Polish airline has decided to incorporate two classes of service within the cabin of its A220s.

During a press conference at the Paris Air Show in June 2025, LOT and Airbus announced that the airline had chosen the A220 to replace its existing Embraer E-Jets and to enhance its regional fleet. The commitment includes an order for 20 A220-100s.

These new Airbus A220 aircraft will feature 125 seats, while 20 of the larger A220-300 model will accommodate 149 passengers. Additionally, LOT has the option to acquire 44 more A220s in the future. The aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines.

The rollout of LOT’s A220s is scheduled to occur gradually between 2027 and 2031.

Regarding the aircraft’s interior, every A220 will be equipped with Airbus’s advanced Airspace cabin and will include RECARO R2 seats. These lightweight seats, produced in Poland by the German manufacturer, will offer built-in device holders and 60W USB-C power outlets.

LOT has also confirmed plans for internet connectivity on its A220 aircraft, aligning with its earlier announcements for other aircraft within its fleet.
