Two United Airlines Boeing 777s Collide in San Francisco
On May 6, 2025, two United Airlines Boeing 777-300ER aircraft collided while taxiing at San Francisco International Airport. United Flight UA877, heading to Hong Kong, and UA863, bound for Sydney, experienced wingtip damage during the incident around 12:35 AM. IndiGo Launches Two New Europe Routes from Mumbai
IndiGo Airlines is expanding its long-haul international flights by launching two new routes from Mumbai to Manchester and Amsterdam, starting July 1 and July 2, respectively. The Mumbai-Manchester service will operate thrice weekly, marking IndiGo’s first direct flight to the UK, while the Mumbai-Amsterdam route will also run three times a week, catering to growing travel demand. Both routes will utilize the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and offer complimentary hot vegetarian meals. The shift from Delhi to Mumbai is aimed at optimizing operations due to airspace challenges.
