GOL Airlines to File Chapter 11 Restructuring Plan
GOL Linhas Aéreas, Brazil’s largest low-cost airline, is advancing its financial recovery by filing a proposed Chapter 11 reorganization plan amid bankruptcy proceedings. This follows a Plan Support Agreement with majority shareholder Abra Group and key creditors. GOL’s January 2024 bankruptcy filing was prompted by significant losses and challenging aircraft leases.
