Air India Express Launches New Routes to 7 Exciting Destinations
DELHI— Air India Express, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, has announced a noteworthy expansion of its domestic network. Effective from October 26, 2025, new direct flights from Delhi (DEL) to key cities like Goa (GOI), Imphal (IMF), Lucknow (LKO), and Port Blair (IXZ) will enhance travel options across India.
New services to Amritsar (ATQ), Jodhpur (JDH), and Udaipur (UDR) will commence on October 28 and November 1, respectively. This initiative promises more choices for travelers heading to prominent cultural and commercial destinations.

Expanding the Air India Express Network
This expansion is part of Air India Express’s strategy to strengthen regional connectivity from major cities. The airline plans multiple daily and weekly flights from Delhi (DEL), allowing greater access to popular tourist, cultural, and commercial hubs.
Starting October 26, flights from Delhi to Goa will operate twice daily, with six weekly services to Imphal, Lucknow, and Port Blair. Furthermore, Port Blair will have additional flights thrice weekly from October 26.
On October 28, Air India Express will introduce three weekly flights to Amritsar, followed by daily flights to Jodhpur and Udaipur starting November 1. Travelers can easily book their tickets through the airline’s website and mobile app.

Boosting Accessibility from Delhi
Currently, Air India Express operates over 400 weekly flights from Delhi (DEL), linking it to 24 domestic destinations and two international locations: Muscat (MCT) and Sharjah (SHJ).
From October 26, all domestic flights will shift to Terminal 1 (T1), while international services will continue from Terminal 3 (T3).
Additionally, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad offers more than 60 weekly flights to various domestic destinations such as Bengaluru (BLR), Chennai (MAA), and Kolkata (CCU), enhancing convenience for travelers in the Delhi NCR region.

Advancing the Growth Strategy of Air India Express
With a fleet of 115 aircraft, including Boeing 737s and Airbus A320s, Air India Express runs over 500 daily flights to 43 domestic and 17 international destinations.
This recent expansion highlights the airline’s commitment to connecting India’s cultural and business centers, significantly through its operations in Delhi and Bengaluru (BLR).
Moreover, the airline’s ‘Tales of India’ initiative emphasizes its dedication to cultural representation, bringing over 50 indigenous art forms to life on its aircraft liveries, such as Madhubani, Bandhani, and Kalamkari.
