Both the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder stopped recording four minutes before the incident, creating a data gap that investigators from South Korea and the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board are currently examining. Despite warnings of potential bird strikes, the aircraft skidded off the runway and collided with a concrete structure, leading to a fire. In response, South Korean authorities are inspecting all Boeing 737-800s and enhancing airport safety measures to prevent future tragedies.
