Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) achieved a record milestone by handling over 41 million passengers in the 2024-25 financial year, marking an 11.6% increase from the previous year. Domestic travel also saw a 10% rise, totaling 36.05 million passengers. Additionally, cargo operations exceeded 500,000 metric tonnes, with international shipments up by 21%. To support continued growth, BLR plans to invest over ₹17,000 crore in infrastructure enhancements, solidifying its role as a key aviation hub in India.
