DUBAI- Emirates Airline has announced the cancellation of all flights to and from Lisbon on Thursday, December 11. This decision comes as Portugal braces for a national general strike that is expected to severely disrupt the country’s transportation system.

The airline indicated that this operational halt will also affect passengers traveling through Dubai on the canceled flights.

Specifically, four scheduled flights are suspended: EK191 and EK193 from Dubai to Lisbon, along with EK192 and EK194 from Lisbon to Dubai. Passengers connecting via Dubai on EK191 and EK193 will not be permitted to fly from their original departure points on that day.

According to reports, travelers who are impacted by these changes are encouraged to rebook either through Emirates or their travel agents.
