Gol Appoints New Chairman After the Passing of Founder Constantino de Oliveira Junior
Brazilian airline Gol Linhas Aéreas has announced the appointment of Antonio Kandir as its interim chairman, following the passing of the company’s founder, Constantino de Oliveira Junior, as confirmed on January 26, 2026.
Kandir, who previously held the position of vice chairman on Gol’s board, will guide the airline as it embarks on the search for a permanent successor.
