IndiGo operates a substantial fleet of over 380 aircraft, connecting 85 domestic and 30 international destinations with more than 2,100 daily flights. According to recent data from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), IndiGo holds a commanding 63% share of the Indian domestic market, and these new routes are part of the airline’s strategy to expand its international connectivity.
IndiGo’s 35th International Destination: Mauritius
In addition to the flights from Pune, IndiGo also recently launched direct flights from Bengaluru (BLR) to Port Louis (MRU), Mauritius, on November 19. This marks the airline’s 35th international destination. The flight, taking approximately five and a half hours, will operate four times a week, further expanding IndiGo’s global footprint.
