Emirates SkyCargo Unveils New Bold Livery for Boeing 777F
Emirates SkyCargo has launched a striking new livery on its Boeing 777F aircraft, showcasing a bold design that is set to enhance the airline’s visual identity in the cargo sector. This major reveal took place in Dubai, marking a significant update to the brand’s image. The newly designed livery, which emphasizes the Emirates Group’s commitment to modernity, was showcased on a Boeing 777F that had been operating without a livery since July 2024.
On February 26, 2025, Emirates SkyCargo officially announced that the aircraft, registered as A6-EFV, had completed its makeover at Emirates Engineering. After eight days of meticulous work at the in-house paint shop, the aircraft has emerged with a fresh and vibrant appearance that is sure to turn heads.
Notable Changes to the Emirates SkyCargo Livery
The updated livery features several key enhancements, particularly on the tailfin, where the UAE flag has undergone a dramatic transformation. Emirates SkyCargo described the new design as "dynamic and flowing," with a 3D effect that adds depth and character to the aircraft.
Additional features include:
- Larger Gold Lettering: The iconic gold lettering in both English and Arabic has been made bigger and bolder, ensuring visibility from a distance.
- Consistent Branding: The Arabic calligraphy on the engines remains intact, along with the distinctive red branding on the aircraft’s belly, preserving the airline’s identity.
- Visual Appeal: A promotional video showcasing the livery update was shared on social media, highlighting the fresh look of the Emirates SkyCargo fleet.
Commitment to Modernization and Growth
Nadeem Sultan, Senior Vice President of Cargo Planning and Freighters at Emirates SkyCargo, emphasized the importance of this new livery, stating, “Emirates SkyCargo freighters are some of the most instantly recognizable aircraft in the skies, flying valuable commodities to and from 38 destinations worldwide.” This investment reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to modernizing its fleet, enhancing capacity, and unlocking new opportunities for global customers.
The new livery is the third iteration of Emirates SkyCargo’s branding since the airline’s inception in 1985 and is part of a broader strategy to double capacity and expand the freighter network by adding over 20 new destinations in the next decade. All 10 Boeing 777 freighters in the Emirates fleet will receive the updated paint job, with 13 additional SkyCargo jets on order to arrive featuring the new design upon delivery.
